Mercedes-Benz offers retrofit or software upgrades to reduce emission and can exempt ULEZ

I have found some recent news from the below link that "Daimler is to offer some of its Mercedes-Benz customers a subsidy to upgrade exhaust filters on older diesel vehicles as the industry looks to avoid blanket city bans." Please see the below links and if anyone can advise me if it can be applicable in UK to avoid ULEZ charge. I have E300 Diesel Hybrid AMG 2013/14 registration at the border line of Euro 5. My family loves my beautiful car and don't want to sell in reduced price but from 2021 I may not be able to drive in most of London, as the ULEZ zone is extending to A406 boundaries, if Mercedes offer the scheme only in Germany. I hope all the members will help to raise their voice on this issue and all the cars will be environment friendly.

Good idea in principle, otherwise ppl would just not buy thier cars
