Your datacard will tell a color, for example 744U - brilliant silber (touch up paint codes is 9774) so I guess last 3 digits apply? ;)

I would use some primer or rust converter like Novarex at first layer, then paint and lacquer. That is useful for stone chips etc, but for larger surfaces spraying is needed.

Edit: here some nice job, never able to do myself:

For stone chips the pens are fine,if you use the clear, then the touch up will look too dark as the clear top is not the same as the 2 component factory finish.

For rust area's nothing much on the market that works well, these touch up pens are water based acrylics with no protection at all.

With stone chips I drop the paint into the chip with a toothpick, leave it a few days or hours at +20c then apply the final one, wait 20 seconds and smudge it with my finger, let it dry and remove the excess with 2000 paper.

If you apply the metallic touch up as is, then the solvent just stay on top and the colour is wrong, smudging it brings out the metallic effect
