Hi All,

I am likely going to be purchasing a Mercedes C Class C200d AMG Line within the next week, however I would be looking to change its alloys from the 5 point star type, to the 14 point turbine style.

The current alloys are 18" and the majority of the alloys that I have found in the turbine style are 19". My question is that would replacing the 18" alloys with 19" alloys cause any problems ??

The turbine alloys are over £1000 , so would be a costly mistake if so.

Thanks in advance.

Mine is an AMG line and it came from the factory with the 19" Turbine wheels, as an option.
So I can't see it being a problem for you.

I can’t see any issues, will definitely improve looks, slightly harsher ride though.

No problem at all

Front Wheels: 7.5Jx19 ET44 fitted with 225/40R19 93W XL
Rear Wheels: 8.5Jx19 ET52 fitted with 255/35R19 96W XL

You will be able to sell the standard wheels to recoup some of the cost as well
