Mercedes C200 'W' Reg Auto- problems...

Having repaired this vehicle recently with frontal parts I have also had to put in a new airbag module. When i switch the car on the problem im having is that the Airbag light is coming on as well as the SRS light...

when driven the car doesnt go past 2nd gear(auto)... i havent had the passwords reset yet but is this common in mercedes or could it be the auto gearbox which could have a problem?

help!!

Your car is in limp home mode, this could be anything you will need to get it tested on STAR diagnostics and follow the faults to find problem, had it with one of my cars was a nightmare to trace a electrical fault. But can be something simple.
Best thing is to get on diagnostics

hiya peeps

just been to have car on diagnostics- the electrician has said the abs modulator has to be changed- but he cudnt find a part number for the vehicle!! ive jus called mercedes and they havent been able to locate the correct part number for the part...

anyone got any ideas???
