Having Running Problem On Starting Up Rpm Eratic Up And Down Then Stalls After Few Seconds. Very Undrivable Have To Press Excelerator Down Foot To Floor. Had Recent New Airflow Meter Fitted Not Genuine Part. Just Fitted Coolant Sensor Cleaned Out Throttle Body Made No Differance. Before Problem Managment Light Came On Bout 4 Days Then Went Out.problem Started When Really Cold Weather Started. Unable To Use Diognostic Equipment Tells Me Plug Is Located By Bonnet Release Where As I Think Its Located In Fuse Box. Is There Any Other Way Of Retrieving Trouble Codes.when Starting Sounds Like It Is Over Fueling Strong Smell Of Fuel Coming From Exhaust And Cats Smell. Its Not Miss Firing. Any Ideas Please Help

Most non Bosch MAF sensors have a very short life, and your fault does sound MAF related
Sometimes one can unplug the MAF and the car will run better to prove the point,but this is not always the case

Does sound like MAS or O2 sensor related.
Especially if the MAS was a non genuine one. Lots of reports of issues with non Bosch or MB MASs
