quick question I have a C63 (w205) and looking to get stage 1 but I like the way the car pops and bangs in standard form in sport+ is it possible to leave that characteristic untouched when mapping ?

(not a fan when they pop too much I much prefer the standard why Mercedes done it)

Yes, GAD can leave all that alone. I specifically asked this myself. My car sounds exactly as it did before. The punch is significantly different though

there is a number of cars in my area that have maps to increase poppage , it drives me nuts , some of them ( focus ST x3 ) its literally like a machine gun everytime the throttle is lifted

Hi Guys, yes this was subtle over run and just a small enhanced version over stock.

I share the same sentiments as some of you, im not a fan of huge pops and bangs which sound like machine guns lol.

I think with the newer emissions software versions especially on this version (390bhp), you cant go too hard anyway or there will be issues or at least while the standard cats are in.

That’s perfect! Extra punch but factory burbles and pops!

Omg yes it’s so annoying more like a pop corn machine them and the m140i everyone’s maps them to just keep popping.

That’s it mate can only advise customers and give them want they want. I want a stage 1 remap but with factory pops it’s enough for me

exactly right, everyone has their own tastes, our job is to give the customers what they want, as long as the customers are happy then that's all that counts.

Can you get the same figures on a GLE 43 ? Same engine ? What would be the new 0-60 for a GLE43 Stage 1? Just curious.

I myself is not a big fan of pops and bangs....just give me the delicious rumble of a thundering big V8 anyday
