Mercedes C63 AMG 4.0 BiTurbo V8 Stage 2 Tuning!!!

Hello members,

We had this stunning C63 AMG Coupe in for Stage 2 software calibration

Client came to us with BMC filters and decat downpipes already installed

Got to work as usual checking tyres, dif, coolent, oil and fuel quality while running diagnostics on the vehicle while letting everything cool as these run very hot and can soak while sitting very easily.

Multiple runs and sweep test along with different RPM tests.

Logs went to plan and vehicle was behaving as we would expect to the customers delight.

OEM - 469bhp and 700nm

REAL - 469bhp and 707nm

Stage 2 - 628bhp and 929nm


She responded beautifully

Nice. That's a chunk more power right there!

I also like to see that most times from the remaps that as well as the power gains, you are able to deal with silly flat spots, like the one exhibited here around 5,300-6,100 rpm in this case.
Not as bad as the factory map on the A43/45 that you posted up a few weeks ago; that was shocking and again successfully ressolved. But I just wonder what Merc (and no doubt other manufacturers) are doing releasing maps with dips in power throughout the rev range.
