Hey guys,
Another C63 AMG in for tuning, this is an earlier one and is strange to feel the difference as we tune so many brand new ones its weird to feel one that the engine has fully stretched its legs! So it felt really sharp and ready to go from the get go!
The Mercedes C63 AMG remapping took around 1 hour from start to finish but of course there is road testing and data logging before and after.
After Gary had worked his magic with the vehicle's actual original files from the vehicle the difference never gets boring
Engine note changed as usual and there are plenty of pops, bangs and the rest of it on shifting and also when coming down the revs. As we all know the throttle is limited in the maps and have heard many people who think you only get 90% throttle which is not true! Its much worse! There are parts of the throttle map which only allows 65%!!!
Runs Bosch ME9.7 which means no READ protocol via most equipment so we always bench flash them.
Customer opted not to have it dyno run as he was happy with how it felt (Bum dyno) Thanks Scoob
From the data logged we would say between 515-520bhp and close to 700nm of torque which comes in very early might I add.
