- Mercedes Cla 250 2014 4matic
Hello,
I have a problem with my Mercedes Cla 250 2014 (C117) 4matic with an automatic transmission While started driving, I accidentally changed the gear to 'P'. The car abruptly stopped, and after turning off and on the engine again, I couldn't change gears or driving modes. The car got stuck in 'P', and the display showed it was in 'N' and could roll away. The car was towed to a mechanic who manually unlocked the transmission and read error codes 07630 and 081C0. The errors were cleared, but they reappeared shortly after. The mechanic determined that the transmission is not mechanically damaged but there is an electronic fault. He suggested that it is likely a problem with the shift lever mounted on the steering column but he is not sure about it. Another mechanic also mentioned that be don't know how to fix this issue. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? I would be grateful for any advices.
Have a nice day
