Hi everybody. My name is Mario and would like to know how can i make my car known to Merc enthusiasts? would like to sell my clk 320 w209 om642 to merc fans only. Bought the car from someone that didn`t love it at all and spent about 3000£ to make it like new. Also got some question in regards to the glow plug module...the car starts fine but on the diagnostic machine i still have short circuit to ground to all 6 glow plugs...really strange. New module(2 changed to see if it makes a difference all Berum original) and new GSK glow plugs. It is really not bothering at all but for the sake of the argument...has anybody encountered this issue before? . Oil cooler changed...all gaskets..o-rings new from Merc. New transmission oil and filter and o-rings to the radiator. New intercooler seals. Brand new Meyle suspension front and back(complete) + ventilated disks front and back with new pads(obviously). New center bearing for the propshaft and new propshaft to engine joint. New diff oil. A/C topped up and checked. Work in progress as i haven`t finished yet. Will refurb the custom 18`` wheels and paint them in chrome(the car is black). New tyres fitted as well and new brake lines on the back. New o2 sensor and new Maf sensor. Turbo has been changed 1 year ago and tested when took the manifold out. The inlet manifold flaps have been bypassed so no more trouble from the motor when opening and closing which gives a very good and fast response + better MPG(i just did a 50mile trip and got 45mpg normal driving with 70mph).
I like bringing my cars back to life and see them going to a good home. I am mentioning that i am not a car dealer...i make no profit out of this, is just a hobby. the car owes me 6000£
) i will never get those money back but it is well worth it.
A new REAR SUBFRAME HAS BEEN FITTED - ORIGINAL from MERCEDES. I am dealing with contour seats issue as they don`t work...but it will have to be the pump i guess...i just need free time to fix it(free time is a luxury these days).
