mercedes clk, 320 gearbox leak, and cat broken

hi every one..

Can any1 help me please and advise me??
i have a merc clk 320 1998, i have an oil leak on the gear box, running down the exhaust system?? how much will it cost to get re-paired and what parts are needed??
Also my cat as broken at the front near the drivers side, it has a clip around it that has broken, some 1 has tried to repair it with some sort of putty, but hasnt worked.... OF COURSE IT HASN'T/ BODGED!! it is also rattling and getting a little noisy?? IS THERE ANY WAY AROUND THIS OTHER THAN REPLACING THE WHOLE SYSTEM

The gearbox leak is probably the pilot bush/electrical connector going into the gearbox. If the cat has broken up itl need replacing.

so pilot bush, oil and the filter plus transmition i will need to fix the leak all in all.
is there no way i n just welding up the join, should there be a clamp that holds the front pipes together??

Yeh theres a small cat on the ns,which joins the os pipe which then goes into 2 more cats,the bolts do rust quite bad so maybe its just the bolts that need replacing.
