Mercedes Comand Aps NGT2 Reversing camera

I have a factory comand aps NGT2 reversing camera fitted to my Mercedes Viano, unfortunately the camera was water damaged.

My question is can I fit a aftermarket reversing camera to my existed cables?

I understand if the NGT2 system did not have a reversing camera programmed in then star is needed to programme it, but in my case it is already there, therefore will it be just plug and play?

NTSC camera and it should work if you wire it right …. the nasty cheap ones use RCA phono plugs, where yours will have a small proprietary merc 4 pin multiplug…. please don't be an animal and ruin the camera or worse destroy the car cutting off plugs... build something disposable to convert between the two
