Mercedes e class 220 diesel auto

Just bought a one owner low mileage car with full service history in mint condition.Just a bit worried re potential auto fault due to Velo radiator cooling leaks.Vehicle registered 2001, how can I tell if the car has been modified? Were all these models made with this system? Thanks Clive

i belive the fault in question didnt come into late 2002-03, i belive!!!

It started on the first 211's up to 09-03 Its not on the 210 and that is not affected
