owned this car for 2 weeks got stuck in gear had it reset on computer and the car is fine now

but if i put my foot down it will get stuck in gear again then if i switch it off and back on its fine

if i drive the car under 2500 revs its fine but time to time i get a rumbling sound

is there anyone that can offer me any help/advice

Air flow meter at a guess.

Sounds like the conductor plate on the gear box, not expensive to do

Both of the above make sense to me. It sounds like it's gone into safe mode so I'd get the fault codes read to avoid the guesswork though. May well be a minor issue. If it is the MAS, get one from your local Bosch outlet. A lot cheaper that way.

i have had the fault codes read and it is the conducter plate any1 know anywere i can get it done from and how much it will cost?

The last price that I saw was £163 I do not lf know if that included labour where do you live

i live birmingham and am having great dificulty finding sum1 to tell me wats wrong with it been to one place today and theyve tld me the full box wants reconditioning now got 1 more place sum1 has recoomended going to try them

will let you know how i get on

cars gone in for the box to get reconditioned

costing me 850 wich aint that bad
