Mercedes EClass Estate advice

Hi all,

I'd appreciate any advice on this. I recently sold my E320 cdi 2000 reg, (beautiful car), I know a bit about these but not the newer models and now I'm looking for another Merc estate-preferably the blumotion.

I've heard that the 220/250 is great-does anyone have one here?

I have a budget of £12,500. Looking to buy asap.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

£12500 won't get you a blue efficiency one. It will get you a nice last of the s211 though.

If you find a source of s212 at this price let me know as I would chop mine in!!!

Hey thanks for that-interested to know where you think the blue motion start?
I saw one today for £12,400 but it was a manual box. Is the s211 an estate?

Sorry mate, yes an s211 or s212 is estate, w211 or w212 is the saloon.

Really one that cheap without 150k miles?

I had a courtesy 250cdi with the stop start on and it was fine... Did about 40 with a mix I town/country an some thrashing as it was a courtesy car seemed quieter than my 220cdi too

I had a 2012 250 CDI E Estate - returned high forties to low fifties on the motorway and had plenty of oomph.

Get the last of the W211, E320CDi Sport should be good

Maybe it's me but that's a lot of money for those miles.... My car has almost as many miles is 1 year older and is worth in part ex only a bit more than half that!

That was a 212, there are loads of 211's for sale for the same price, if you want a cheaper 212 you will have to accept the higher miles

What I mean is my 2009 s211 is worth about 7-8k if I am lucky yet an s212 2010 same miles is worth £13k or so.....

Madness.... But differnt model so perhaps that's it... I wouldn't pay over £10k for a car sold in high volume numbers like these with over 120k miles on it

It is the same thing with my 216, the face lift sells for roughly £10k over the older model and the reason why I am keeping what I have.
