Had a wonderful GL in!!!

This is quite a beast and on the road this monster does command some presence!!!

It handles like something half its size but of course can always do with a little more power

The software for these is massively restricted in the mid range so peak gains is only 20bhp and 40nm but the mid range is massively improved!

Another issue that's very common with these V8's is when lesser fuel is used it pulls a load of timing out! So top notch fuel is a must

Best option with the Bosch ME9.7 is ECU out and BDM to get all parts of the maps ect....

Actually I did!!!!! lol

But by the time I got her back to the customer it was filth! ha ha ha He has an Audi R8 V10 which will next week be getting out Stage 2 package! 80bhp extra is something to behold on the V10

I got a GL550 2009, I am facing a jerk on the shift (2nd gear) especially when the throttle is pressed hard for a quick catch up, any suggestions..am I in danger? appreciate your input. Cheers
