You won't get anymore out of the dealer doing it. The functionality will be the same regardless of who does it.

You will get free coffee and biscuits though I would imagine.

To be honest if they are who you bought the car from then they should be able to do it over the phone.

No, the car is leased. It came from somewhere down South.
