Mercedes Me app infected?

I got a message on my Android phone this morning saying that the Mercedes Me App appeared to be "infected" and should be uninstalled. I'm pretty sure this is a false alarm as it did seem to update recently but as I hardly ever use it I uninstalled it anyway.

Anyone else seen this?

Not seen it, not used it, its just another interface to keep ppl glued to mobile phones.

Maybe it has caught Covid. :D
I just checked mine and there was an update available from version 1.18.0 to 1.18.1 so I done it.
It was and still is working perfectly.
I think the Mercedes me app is very useful and I check it every day, but it only has full and free functionality for 3 years from the vehicles first registration.

Mine's also on 1.18.1 and just transferred it to a new phone this week.

Checked it both before and after with Look Out and no issues here, in fact it recently told me I'd left the doors unlocked. I hadn't, so it's still coming out with the same guesswork as it was before the update. :)

not exactly, the app will work just fine after 3 years, but any service that you pay for, for example Remote Parking, will need to be paid in advance in order to be used in the app. You don't have to enable all the services but i keep at least two *remote parking and remote locking..*. Of course the app isn't so useful when you don't have attached services to it...
