As has been said lots of different manufacturers, share the same basic vehicle then tweak them to their own brand / variant.
The present Renault Kangoo and Mercedes Citan are basically the same van etc.

Theres a lot of ssangyong mussos here badged "powered by mercedes". I heard somewhere they use om603 based engines and gearboxes from the w124 era. Not sure if its true but if so probably explains why theyre very popular amongst farmers (cheap utilitatian and reliable).

I thought they used the Vito & Sprinter van engines OM601 & OM602

I'm sure mine is either the M270/M274 which appears to be built by Mercedes?
