We have just taken in another SL for a Black Edt widebody conversion and this time an SL63 AMG is the stock car.
Lots of noise and power from this monster and the looks will match it we are sure.

Starting a little build thread from start to finish

Started to strip the car this week and test fit the parts, ready for some re-work and shaping.
Our fitters and painters take lots of time to perfect the kit as it needs to be 100% and no cutting corners as the end result needs to be perfect.

More to come soon

I have been looking at SL's again and I see lots of cars for sale with this wide body conversion, 2003/3 cars looking like 2008 plus the wide body, are there many doing this kind of mods.

There are a few guys doing as well as us, but the we think we do them to the best end result. We do spend the time and money on them to make them look the best possible car at the end

Looks like a great project, subscribed! Nice to see people doing quality work.

I love the widebody look; though not entirely sure I should do such a thing to an SL55...

God knows how to insure such a thing as well!

With the primer on it shows what a neat jobs been done on the rear arch- good work.

A bit off topic but how high do the floor recessed ramps lift up as they look like handy bits of kit!

Our staff spend lots of time perfecting these cars and thank you for the kind comments... its i the details and you get what you pay for these days:)

Our ramps are sunk onto the floor and we have a control unit to operate them

^ The last photo in particular makes the wheels look ridiculously small inside those arches.

Nice paintwork job!

Yes it really shows how big the conversion is, but with the NEW wheels and 315 rear tyres it will look perfect.

Just need to polish the car to a enhance the glass finish.. Our painted has done a great gun finish so far.

Wow, that looks the dogs. What sort of money does a project like that cost?

I could be wrong but a lot of the panels don't look like they line up very well in the pictures!

Front bumper to wing around headlight
Door to wing where the vent is
Rear bumper to wing And around the lights on the drivers side

If I was paying £12500, yea! Don't get me wrong, the car looks lovely and I appreciate you guys can't help how the kits come but they obviously aren't perfect, even with you guys doing the best you can with fitting them.

The kits we use a spot on and you must remember you are taking a car with OEM parts and making it something else with none OEM parts.. The kit fits very well and the lines are very good... I am sure if you see this in person you would change your mind.
Thank you for your observation and comments and as always we note them for future refernece

I would have though that "spot on" would be OEM quality, perhaps in the flesh I would agree with you but i just don't think that it looks a very good quality kit in those pictures myself, maybe I'm just picky!
