My Mercedes is making a weird noise, like a shhhup kind of noise? We have recently had the engine out, nothing was stripped from the engine, but obviously all the parts to get to the engine were stripped. It’s been making this noise since, could it possibly be a turbo hose/air hose that hasn’t been connected properly. I’m at a loss currently as no one knows what it is, but no one has checked as of yet. Just want to see if anyones experienced this before?

It makes this noise once through a journey, doesn’t matter of the revs, speed or anything. Can happen on acceleration, driving slowly, round roundabouts etc
