- Mercedes Sprinter 2010 313SWB Euro 5
Hi guys,
I just bought this Sprinter 313 from 2010, EURO 5 about 1 month ago and since then I get this annoying problem when starting the engine for the first time in the morning. What happens is that the engine revs between 1500-2000RPM for about 5 to 10 seconds before dropping to 900RPM.
I took the van in for a check and my local dealer told me that it is normal for it to do that, as there had some problems with the oil pump on this model and they had to remap the engine to boost the oil pressure when cold and that they all do the same.
I was just wondering if anybody else has had this issue by any chance and if it was resolved or if it is normal for the engine to do that. Thanks!
