Tell them you are using the £50 to get

No got my hubby to come 6ft about 20 stone so they didn't argue after that, although the got a few harrasing emails on gumtree tonight demanding the 50 pound back, I told them I will give it back when I have checked for any CCTV and they were saying no now I will report you if you don't do it now!

I said go ahead report me show them the messages where I have said you will get your refund if there's no CCTV ,

Hoping to see if there is any tomorrow, if there's not suppose not much I can do but to refund the 50 to my annoyance as there is no proof and again the good girl (me) will be in the wrong if I withhold there money!

We live and learn !
Will get husband there next time and maybe us both to supervise each end of the van....things we have to do, sad sad world x

I have also heard something like this. I mean I am too surprise that even in Mercedes club there is a scam. That's pathetic.

Today more threatning messages saying put darn money back and trying my phone numerous times even though i said i was looking at trying to get to see CCTV this afternoon, anyhow they made me so angry how they kept having the cheek to bombard me with messages trying to intimidate me i told them do not call me again or i will be calling the police i am using the 50 to buy new coolant for the van! Your scam didn't work on me ! Not heard anything since !

Tell them you have CCTV and have passed it to the police as evidence of attempted fraud....

Ask them for their correct name and address so you can post a cheque.
Pass that to the Police, even if the details are false they will certainly know 'em.

Tell them there will be no money refunded as the cost to flush out and refill your cooling system covered that.
