Mercedes unimog wanted

I am looking to buy a good secondhand Unimog .any ideas where and what type of price should i be paying .I have not heard anyone on the forum mention anything about one.

because its not a UK motor and suited to rough terrain here we would call it a farm truck and tooooo expensive for road use

I dont think so teky Idont see many farm trucks like this. There is lots of dealers in britain Afterall it is a mercedes benz.

The RAF used to use Mogs to tow aeroplanes. Try an MOD auction.

Thanks m8 but i have tried them. There are not a lot of them for sale anywhere.Most people who have them hang on too them.

Also, you could look at the 'completed' unimog section - you might find some that didn't sell because they didn't attract any or high enough bids, or the seller got mucked about with. http://search-completed.ebay.co.uk/...ogZ9QQsosortorderZ2QQsosortpropertyZ2QQsotrZ2

If you search an European ebay site I'm sure you'll find more.
Incidentally, does anyone know if the MBOA has any affiliation with any foreign MB clubs? Might be a great source for parts etc.

Thanks I never thought of ebay I had a look at the one you said I will contact the seller or put a bid in for it It looks just what i was after .
