Hello and welcome

Could be a feed for some aftermarket accessory. Does it look like an original wire?

Hi It does look like an original wire as it has a place for a fuse also connected to the wire but I will be able to get some photos in the morning

Also I have an issue with the central locking the back sliding doors and the back doors do not lock so I was wondering if it could be cause by the wire being chopped

I would be surprised if that wire was original. There are allocated fuses in the fuse box for pretty much all possibilities. I would guess that it had an aftermarket head unit that needed a permanent feed. Most pick that up from the front ciggy lighter.

Any one of the rear doors failing to give the lock signal to the SAM will prevent all from locking. Something like iCarsoft (although Star Xsentry is the ultimate)should point you to which door is failing. I guess it's a micro switch in one of the door lock mechanism, very possibly the back door as that is the one most likely used most.
It may be door alignment, but than there is a fair amount of trial and error.
The contact plates for the sliding doors can give issue. Not expensive new. Be careful if you clean them as they are coated.
