Hello everyone,
I've fairly recently bought a 2010 W169 Facelift A180 Classic se, I love the car and it's in good condition with a full service history, it's got the cloth interior, but the bolster on the drivers side is starting to wear.
So, I'm looking to upgrade to a leather interior and am I right in thinking that leather seats from a pre facelift W169 should fit my car? The seats in question would be non power models, like the ones I have at the moment, which are manual adjust. The only other question I have is, the new seats would have heating on them, but I've not got that option on the car at the moment, I've taken photos both of the wiring loom connecting to the occupancy sensors and seatbelt sensors on the car, and also taken out the lower part of the console where the seat heating switches would go and taken pictures of the part number and the connectors.
If it came to it and I can't use the heated part of the leather seats, that wouldn't be such a huge issue, even though I would like to use them if possible (if it's a mamouth wiring task then probably not). But if I chose to fit the seats but not used the heated part, would it still connect up o.k. with the wiring loom on the car as it is now?
I've seen there's another thread on here about that, but it's not entirely clear to me if it's possible on the facelifted W169.
Thank you.
