Mercedes w213 2017 adblue level cannot measureable

Hi everyone
I bought mercedes e class 2017 three weeks ago. Only drove about 300 miles since bought it. This morning when i started the car was just playing with the menu and found option to check adblue level. When i clicked it displayed “adblue level cannot measureable”.
There is no warning light on dash no engine light or anything. Car drives fine without any problem. I have seen some people saying they need to chane whole adblue tank which cost alottt but at the same time their engine light was came on.
In my case no warning lights or messages. So is there any problem or it measures adblue level after driving for some time?

Need a Mercedes specific code reader to check that the system is there and doing its job. Does sound like it’s been “deleted”…
When they can’t read the level a yellow engine warning light comes on and you get a count down from 500 miles that it won’t restart

You'd need to take it to a remapper service and ask them to take a look at the binary data for ad blue , to see if it's been tinkerered with. Even have a look to see if the cars ECU has been remapped . Or just ignore it , there's a reply for you buddy .

Right so its been checked by the specialist and yes asblue is deleted. Dpf is till there and working fine. Now i need some suggestion here, i know the legal side but if only adblue is deleted then is it safe for car’s health or it can damage other parts by the time?

Cars will run perfectly well without AdBlue… should they run without AdBlue is a different story entirely

You are driving a car which the last owner was a cheap skate to maintain.
i just would not be happy with that and would get it put right. But thats my perogative.

Get the system software as should be, and see what can of worms is lurking.

Take the car back, only reason why i thought it had been deleted is a mate had the same last month, he rejected the car.

At a guess I'd say 3 weeks ?

Most do.

It will most likely pass the emissions test, it should fail an MOT, although unlikely as they don’t interrogate the systems (as yet…)

not a massive fan of adblue but if i bought a car i would expect it to work if it were fitted.
