Meredes A140 Startup Prob(help me)

Hello everyone,I just got my 1st Merc A140 Elegance, 2001 model, well all seemed good but then 2/3 weeks ago this startup prob occurred,
well wat happens is wen i start the car it fires up rite away, but theres no gas, so i gotta give loadsa gas first,otherwise engine cuts off ,then wen it warms up it works well,
first i thought it mayb a very cold morning that day, but then it happend everyday, infact if it isnt touched for 4/5 hours after a drive, i get the same prob everytime, now its getin me annoyed coz i gota waste gas and also time..
please can sum1 help me on this... i require ur urgent support on diagnosing this prob

You need a short test on that, could be a few faults, where in the world are you?

actually that could be the air mass sensor, i have known these symptoms before.

as colin, aka sam said, you really need a specialist with the correct equipment to diagnose correctly.

if i am right about the air mass sensor expect a bill in the low hundreds for repair of the msm ecu (has sensor built in), or over a thousand for a new part.
