Mileage Display - A Class A160 (2001)

I have just purchased the above car and cannot adjust the lighting on the display (clock, milelage, temp etc.). Can anyone help? I don't have a manual so can't look in there! Thanks

There is no adjustment. Why should you want to change what the master-race have decided is right for you ? What you might have is automatic instrument cluster dimming, where when you go into a tunnel or car park or at night the lighting level is adjusted by a sensor in the rear view mirror

there are a couple of +/- buttons , From what I rmember of my earlier 168, these will adjust the display brightness too.
