Hi,can anybody help me please,I have for the past 10 years owned a lovely 190E and have moved to a busy road in Eastbourne where the local vandals will insist on kicking my mirrors off as they are of the fixed type, can anybody tell me is there a set of fold back[either electrical or mechanical ]that I can fit ,maybe with a little adaptation even if it is not from a Mrec.I am now on my fifth set of mirrors in 3 years, any suggestions,Thanks .RAY BARRON

Speak to your local police, I know it won't do much but the more of us that suffer this sort of thing complain the sooner some vigilance will get applied to the problem.

or

If you can monitor the car with some form of video recorder do so, but make sure that you are not impinging on someones private life by getting their windows in shot.

in concert with

When you next loose a mirror pass the video or a still from it on to the biggest hairyest nasty bugger that you can afford to pay (50 quid seems the going rate) and have them snap something off the vandal.

I am just waiting, the camera is installed (it works in total darkness), a new drivers mirror and bonnet star are now fitted...
