ML 163 central locking problem

Hello chaps, just on the eve of selling my ML the central locking on the drivers door seems to have given up working via the remote, all the other doors and locks work perfectly well. Any ideas for a diy fix or is there a reset mode on the car for the central locking. Any input much appreciated.

It will require a new locking motor,is the button bouncing

Thanks for the advice, the drivers door button does not move or make any noise whereas all the other buttons lock, click back open then lock again all on the one push of the remote button.
Typical, more expense just as i am selling the car, thanks again for advice.

I have sent you all that you need,,I would check that the lock is getting power

Thanks for taking the time Malcolm, both emails are for removing the door panel, is one supposed to be for the lock.
