I posted a request for help 05/02/07, "BLOBCAT" kindly sent a set of reset instructions which I have tried several times without success. Let me describe what happens.....
What should happen - press and hold the reset button whilst ignition key is set to position 1, after 10sec. the service interval indication should reset and a beep should sound.
What actually happens - Instead of the indication reseting after 10sec. at about 15secs. the indication changes to 22 3 with no beep!
I presume these numbers are error codes?
Any thoughts / advice please. Thanks again.

IIRC you may have to have the ignition in position 2 rather than 1

I agree with Blobcat, only turn the key one click and not two, then try again. First position is Aux and second is ignition the third is start. If your in the second position the ECU is fully awake and will not accept reset.

you need to turn ignition to position 2, press the reset button twice with in one second, turn ignition off, then hold reset button while turning the ignition back on to position 2 for about ten seconds until you hear a beep, job done!
