ML Badges

I notice there are none except the MB badge on the rear and it doesnt look like they have ever been there.Im talking about The ML badge and the 270 D badge.Were can i get these from and how do they go on the tailgate.eg drill/adehesive. Cheers

Buy them from MB and stick them on. Make sure you get it right first time though.

Was an E300TD, now a Lexus LS400
Measure it out very precisely. I recommend finding one at a dealer and taking measurements. Do it even slightly wrong, and it'll always look....wrong.

And don't use a spirit level :) Line it up with the window or the bottom edge of the boot.

I ordered them today from MB- £30.The parts guy imforms me that some MB owners debadge them themselves.What would be the purpose of that?

To make it look like it has a bigger engine or a different engine or just that they don't want any badges.

The easiest way is to tape on a flat ice cream or lolly stick at least then the numbers will be in line and level,use a spacer for the vertical gap. You have no second chance.

I had to reverse my numbers from reading SL500 to 500SL to match the number plate, being so carful to keep the spacing correct I used a spacer and clear forgot that there should be a larger gap between the Last 0 and the S. I will have to re do it one day, makes me feel bad everytime I go in the garage and see it.:???:

What is the easiest, quickest and safest way to remove my C240 badge, its the only one on the boot, I prefer not o have anything on it, any ideas before i give this a go.
Are they just stuck on?

Just use a warm air gun or hair drier, put your finger nail behind and pull off,, they cannot be re used
