..do you remove the rear offside passenger courtesy light to replace the bulb. Several of us have now attempted to prise it out but have stopped short of the sound of splintering plastic. It must be the most solidly fixed item on the vehicle.

I don't know the ML that well, any pictures? I have tools for just about all trim removal and whilst it can be daunting to start once you start pulling it can be quite fun.

Garage next door had assorted snap - on trim removal tools and gave up because of the fear of the whole thing exploding in to a shower of plastic shreds. Can't believe you have to remove the whole roof lining to get at the thing. Sorry , no pixs.

Is there not a (very) small cut-out in the lens? Just enough to get a terminal screwdriver in the twist and pop out the lens?

I will look again but it seemed to be completely flush. Will let you know over the weekend as I intend to get that bulb out one way or the other. Wheres the best place on line to get a replacement light ?

Bulb Replacement

You might find that your friendly local MB Service Advisor will replace it for free. Mine has replaced bulbs for the cost of the bulb a number of times.
