Hello
I think I need to replace my maf. When I've looked at a PDF file on how to do it my maf doesn't look the same.
On the PDF it showed one end is connected by a large jubilee which mine has. On the PDF it showed the other side of the maf connected with a metal clasp where mine hasn't got that. Mine seems to connect straight to the housing...
Am I missing something, please help

So I just replace the sensor and not the whole housing unit?

Yep, about £60 from merc.......

I've come to the conclusion that its the sensor. My car has suddenly lost power about 4 times today and wouldn't accelerate past 35mph. Once I stopped and turned the ignition off then on again it was fine.
Would you not recommend using a non MB part?

No, MB part, get the fault codes read, that's the cheapest place to start......

Had the AA check my car this morning and the maf is ok. He thinks its the turbo booster sensor. Going in to my MB Indy tomorrow morning.
