When you find out a price can you let me know as I was thinking of buying some for my ML270 as my car gets very muddy after the wheels have sprayed mud down the sides of the car.

Andy wr,

I will post the price when I get chance to ring them, I notice you are from Stoke, I work in Stoke on Trent my desk is in the Network Rail Core Node North building on Vernon Way.
Just had the ML serviced by Merx in Fenton, very impressed with the service.
May ask them re the mud flaps when they get back to work next week.

Thanks Mark. I have never been to Merx as I have always (touch wood) been able to repair my cars myself but Pete at Merx does have an excellent reputation. Have you carried out any other mods to your ML yet, I wanted to fit the evolution pedal rubbers to mine like I did in my old C class but cannot find the part numbers which will fit the accelerator, I have the brake and parking brake numbers, just the accelerator pedal numbers I am short of.

HI Andy,

No not done any mods yet, thinking of having the COMMAND system fitted later in 07, the car has 18inch AMG wheels with 285 tyres, looks fab, these were on the car when purchased.
Quite like the idea of haveing Bixeon lights as my dad has these on his new C class and they do make adifferance.
Like you I need the mud flaps to try to keep the muck off, gets quite bad with the big wheels and as the wife visits the farm every day to see the horses its a battle to keep her clean, even washed her in the rain the other day. I am very pleased with the car, have been driving Mercs for over 20 years, had a go in some nice cars from Drayton in Stoke, know the team well as this is where Dad gets his cars from.
I will let you know re the mud flaps, may call into Merx next week and see what they can do.
Very impressed with the a service they have just done, £112.00 inc vat.

Catch you later

What service was it Mark? Do you have a picture of your car with the wheels, I saw an ML today in silver with huge wheels and very little rubber, must of been 21" at least, they looked excellent.........wheels are on my list of mods to do as well as I am considering a remap of the ecu.

Andy,

I have a picture that I took when I first saw the car will try to attach it here.
The service was the A service which is just an oil change and inspection, very pleased with them and will be using them in future.
Have you every changed the discs and pads on your car?
