ML playstation fitment?

Hi, first post so go easy.
Ive just bought an ML 320 and it has tv screens in the head rests, there are adapters to wire in a playstation 2. Would this just be for a normal Playstation 2 or is there a 12v model that i would have to get hold of?
I presume any transformers needed would be fitted already....

A standard UK slimline PS2 takes 8.5v at just over 5.5 amps; so quite a strange combination.

The easiest way to power the unit is using one of these:

which is an in car unit specifically designed to run the PS2 in car by supplying 240v to run the adapter which comes with the PS2. About £30.00 so not the end of the world.

If you wanted a fully fitted result, this one is about £38.00 and is hard wired into the car and provides the required 8.5v via a step down transformer

The AV output can be achieved using the cable which comes with the PS2 itself

Thanks for the reply mate.
It has a power inverter under the seat which is hard wired. This doesnt seem to be getting a power supply so ill have to get someone out to take a look. The windows arent working either but i dont think thats related.
