I have just brought a ML & want to pack the kids in the rear seats.
(Third row)
But I can't seem to get the seats to fold foward!
I've got the D shaped handle one side & another lever on the other side of the seat, but all I have managed is to fold the back down so they can step over the seat.
Is it me, or is it meant to flip foward?
(Car came without the owners manual and I'm not the sharpest tool in the box!)

Can someone help me PLEEEEEEEEESE!!!!

there should be a black lever on the side base of the seat. Have you tried that?

Have you had a look in the owners book, it took me a while to work out how to fold the seats flat in mine.

Seat doesn't "flip" forward - or mine doesn't anyway. Procedure is to lift button on top of back rest and fold forward. Then use D handle and move entire seat forwards until it locks in place. This gives you an almost flat floor. Reverse procedure to re-erect seat.

I've reached that point in a man's life when I would admit defeat & look at the instructions, but I haven't got any!

Don't suppose anyone would be willing to scan them?

Hi mine is a five seat & the rear seats dont fold farwards only go down flat so if I fit seven then thay still only fold down flat but I think that a proper seven seat might have differnt seat that tip farwards

As said above, lift the toggle on the top of the seat and this allows the seat to fold forward then lift the D handle and this allows the seat to move forward and down flat.
