ML what to look out for????

My wife has decided that she needs something to pull her horse box, my e class will do it but not if she wants to have two horses in the box.

I'm thinking of a ML 2006 model or later, are they any good and what should I look out for???

I can't help with the tech side,but I have a 2007 320cdi which I have had 3 years.I can get around 32 mpg on a run and around 20/21 mpg towing a large caravan. It has been very reliable and I love it.

We have a late 07 ML320CDI - done over 100,000 miles now and first class in every way. I'd say we can pretty much get the quoted 30.1 on a run (over 80mph fuel economy drops a lot). Funnily enough we did a fair bit of horse trailer towing as well (only one horse) - 20mpg would be the best you could get, but it towed very well
