Hi,

Looked online but a few sites are showing 0 for valuation.

Thinking of selling our ML270 CDI 2002 02 only 52,000 miles fsh. with lux pack. Silver with black leather.

My wife would prefer to go back to something smaller one dealer has offered 6k for part ex? Ouch.

I would prefer to keep it has it runs well.

Would this be a realistic part ex price in today's market?

Many thanks in advance.

Your Mercedes
ML250 BlueTEC Sport
Have a look at Parkers on line and What Car who give used car values.

But for a miserly £3 you can get a full valuation from Glass's Guide website. Put in miles, extras etc etc and they will give you trade value, part ex value, private sale, dealer price etc etc. Well worth it. And you can print off the valuation and use it as basis for haggling. I have found it helps -even show it to the dealer.

Thanks.

Glass's £7300 excellent and £6400 average.

I think 7k in it's present condition and mileage would be more like it.

Glass's guide etc doesnt seem to be accurate in this current meltdown market. When I bought my ML500, I enquired as to px on the ML270, 3grand was offered. Against a B-Class, 2600. This is a car in excellent condition, MY2001 with loads of extras. Glass's guide was circa 6grand!

Keep the car, you wont get anything like it for the money and any additional cost in VED or fuel will be a fraction of what you'll lose both on the px and depreciation on another car.

To be honest, I agree. I think the car is worth more to keep than the part ex offer.

My wife likes the A3 tdi 5 door. Offer on at the moment with £1700 sport upgrade for free and £1000 dealer contribution (which is probably covered by the part ex price anyway).

many thanks.

I think we will keep it. After trying a few cars they feel so small comparedt o the ML. Also not as comfortable.
