We recently sold a Mercedes benz ML270CDi Auto/Tiptronic and it came back with the customer complaining of the engine revving high in gears and losing drive intermitantly. We took it to an automatic transmission specialist who found one of the internal clutches was worn, this was replace and the gearbox rebuilt ( Expensive!! ). All was well but then apparantly the vehicle lost drive again, we returned it to the transmisssion place were they replaced a seal around the electronic connector to the gearbox (possibly causing a short). Everything was fine for 3 weeks but now the vehicle has apparantly lost drive again and started revving up again!!. Anyone heard of this before The vehicle isn't showing any fault codes neither which makes it doubly hard to track down.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated
