Hi guys, hope this is the right place for this?
The alternator pulley has decided to part company with the alternator:-{
New price for one fitted is £850 ahhhhhhh, I have got a reconditioned one for £200, I have stipped the old one off and Iam awaiting delivery of new one, I have a new belt £15, so as the thread title says, How do I tention the new belt?. There are two lay pullies but I cant budge them and the water pump/alternator/power steering/air con compressor all are fixed to the engine block,
Any help would be welcome

cheers

If the pulley has sheared of, the inner part stays on the alternator, just needs the tool to remove the inner part, only a new pulley needed!!

There is a 12 point bolt head on the idle pulley for adjustment!!

And welcome to the forums!
