My cousin has a 53 reg ML270CDI and as above, full screen demist only works about 30% of the time.I'm guessing that it's the actuator motor on the flap. How easy/difficult are these to remove/replace or am I way off the mark?

Air-conditioner packed up? Mine's run out of gas and demisting is much harder/slower.

Sorry,I should have explained better.Everything works apart from airflow to the screen (especially on full demist/defrost) which is sometimes ok,hence my thought about an intermittent or sticking actuator.

Cynics-Arent we all deep down?. Anyway thank you for the papers.Who are you again?. Seriously- very useful.Have not read through properly yet. Please make some space in your PM box. I would like you to look at a website that will interest you and one or two others on here-I have no connection, but don't want it to be construed as advertising.

Thanks again

John.
