Hi guys,

Im new here and got a question.

My ML has front parking sensors and i wish to purchase one of these steel A bar's (nudge bars). My question is, will this interfere with the sensors at the front?

Has anyone come across this before?
Many thanks

No but it will make a hell of a mess of a child if you hit one.

Nothing against 4x4'd BTW. If run a search you will see I have defended them on more than one forum. And I had an ML270cdi myself, which I liked a lot and which did 30mpg regularly.

But Bull bars, crash bars, nudge bars and all the rest of it apparently cause savage injuries to children and should be avoided IMO.

Seconded, and I've got a 4x4 too. There are softer ones available and whilst steel ones aren't illeagal (oddly) they are immoral IMO
A proper MB bar won't affect the sensors but clearly with any after market one, all bets are off.

i might just settle for the side step bars.

I think sidesteps will do nothing for the residual value.

Aftermarket ones, will compound the issue.
