I'm new to the site, so not sure how to word things or how it really works yet. My problem is that I bought an automatic 2000 ML320 3 months ago and whilst coming down the motorway tonight, I lost drive and had to pull over. The engine did not cut out and after a little while, I put it back into drive and it drove a bit further and then did the same thing again. I haven't a clue what this is - can anyone help? Shortly before this happened, I did use the cruise control for an "average speed camera" area at 50mph and as we approached a slight incline, it lost speed and that's the first occasion it happened. Any advice or help would be gratefully received. Thanks.
