Ml320 misfiring

Hi, can anyone help....my ml320 misfires for no apparent reason and looses power....if I switch off and restart the engine all is fine...any thots..cheers

could be air mass, plugs, leads, coil pack, blocked cats, all these could give your symptoms,

thanks for comments.....have had new plugs and leads fitted...someone has suggested air mass but not sure whats entailed...could you explain? cheers

on your car in the pipe from the airfilter box there will be an electrical connector, this is your air mass,

my best advice is to get fault codes read from someone in the know on mercs
