I need Mercedes specialist mobile mechanic for diagnostic work. Key remote not working, wiper not working, hazard light not working, electric windows cannot unfold.

Does the car not drive.

Somestime a bad battery can flash up lots of faults.

Yes definitely give it a jump start or a charge up first.

Charge or renew the battery. Had all sorts of problems with instruments etc with CLK. All fixed with new battery.

if its not the battery its likely to be a SAM unit but please follow the advice you have been given already

I need help please. I took my 2007 c class to independent garage as my wipers are not working , indicators not working , light continues on, mirror could not unfold. He carried out STAR diagnostic and told me it is pointing to front and rear SAM. I was told the technician will need to carry out further manual diagnostic test which cost additional £125 plus vat and I should give them approval to buy the front SAM. After speaking to three dealers, I was told I can buy exchange or reconditioned SAM and they will give me £40 if the old one is returned, I told indie garage who gave many excuses why Mercedes will not refund the £40. I got tired as I didn’t want to buy the SAM myself so they will come back to me to say it doesn’t fit in or there is problems with what I bought. I gave them go ahead to buy the exchange with hope that I will get my £40 back. After fitting the front SAM, the lady came back to tell me there are few things not working like the navigators and fuel gauge, so we will buy the rear SAM and I will pay £140 plus VAT as it will take them 2hrs to fix the rear SAM. I was not told I will pay 140 plus VAT for 2 hours to fix the rear SAM. All I was told was the report pointed to front and rear SAM which cost £125 for further work and I have to pay for front SAM.
I don’t have money at the moment to spend over £850 to replace front and rear SAM
Does it take 1.5 hrs to replace front SAM and 2 hrs to replace rear SAM? Please can anybody advise me as I don’t have that money. My business is struggling at the moment. I also need money to fix mechanical issues to pass MOT. I was not given opportunity to speak with the technician.
