I have had a letter today from Mercedes-Benz informing me that my Mobilo Life policy has been restored.

I think it last had a service in 2005.

It means now, of course, I cannot proceed with my claim for its "loss of benefit" in the Courts.

I suppose you could take the view that they were negligent in not administering the Ts & Cs of their scheme correctly? Rather in the same way as you could be charged with on street parking which obstructed entry to your own drive?

I suppose they would argue that they restored the benefit to show good will, whereas you would argue that they restored it to avoid other matters (loss of benefit).

Where will it all end?

The letter was a joy to read, where will it all end? When I am returned to the same financial position I was in when my car was taken to MB in November 2005.

I am expecting the Inspection report tomorrow:D

Where will it all end? In that well known resting place of so many legal battles: in the twin towns of Acrimony and Bitterness.

I disagree, it depends on how one looks at it. I refuse to be disadvantaged.

Acrimony and bitterness do not enter into it, I know I am in the right and it is only a matter of time before I am vindicated in taking my legal actions against MB.

It's an attitude of mind and experience, I have been in more contentious situations than this before.

I find this dispute an intellectual challenge, the experienced legal department
of MB and one of their customers.

I must have missed this, what happened? Did MB take your Mobilio Life away and then restore it? Why should they have taken it away in the first place?

How long have you got?, I think Robert would say they took his whole life away not just his Mobilo life!!

There are a few (long) on this threads .
You'll need to read them all to get the full picture.

Can you explain it in more detail? I have never heard this.

So, when MB say that the Mobilo life once extinguished it cannot be revived, not true. My car has not had a service, it seems since 2004.

I am formulating my reply to the letter but, I have been busy filling in an N244 and getting it down to the County Court.

A rather churlish response to a goodwill gesture -some might say.

By the way, see the Mobilo sticky. They don't say it can never be revived -depends on date of first registration.

I stand corrected.

I do not see it as churlish, MB had already sent in a Defence to the Court.
