I'm considering buying a 'new shape' E270 diesel Auto.

I've seen a 20K mile 52 reg, that's described as being '5 speed semi automatic' and I have two questions.

1: What is 'semi-automatic'? :Oops:

2: Is it basically the same gearbox as the 'Tip' previous model?

I've had recent trouble with a previous model auto here,

I'm hesitant about buying a car with the same gearbox.
