i replaced a fuel tank on a W124 E300D at the weekend, do we need a DIY for that?

also, i did my anti roll bar bushes [W202 C180]

i dont have any photos of the job, but they are relatively straightforward jobs anyways.

it coud be helpful if they were divided into models, if model specific ie w202 w210 etc, to make it (hopefully) easier for people to find the diy relative to their car! there could also be a general section for non model specific info. just a thought....

Many components are common across the range, and this would be hard to set up

I suppose I should buy a cheap digi camera and keep it in the workshop... I'm doing diff oil seals on a C230 kompressor next week. Might be interesting for somebody??

okay, i'll write them when i get time and try and fudge some photos.

if a c180 W202 diff is the dame then that might be aof use to me, as one of my seals has a seep on it which i could do with sorting.

I have extracted the broken cable, new one arrives tomorrow. It's actually not as complicated as you might think when you see it all dismantled.





I'll be here crying tomorrow if I can't get it all back together and working...

Malcolm, do you need a "how to" for steering removal? as i need to do it on a W203.

steering wheel i meant to say LOL!

write up will be on its way.

i'm also doing my waterpump too at the weekend, along with doing more bulbs in the dash, and replacing the broken bonnet release handle [a long story]
